Ingredients

4 pcs Chicken Thighs
2 medium size Potatoes
1 Green bell pepper
3-4 stalks Green Onion
half Sweet Onion
half head Ginger
3 cloves garlic
3-4 pc Dry Chili
2 Star Anise
1 tsp Szechuan Pepper Corn
1 tbs Oil
1 tbs Chili Bean Sauce
1/2 cup Beer
1/8 tsp Salt
1 tsp Optional Sugar
1 tbs Dark soy sauce

    This receipt is adapted to AirGO version with BIG PLATE which mean you can take the pan on the table after cook. This dish contains savory soup inside which goes well with rice or noodles. The soft potatoes and green peppers carries aroma with delicious chicken that all combines perfectly together, and will please everyone eating it!

    Prepare Ingredients

    -Chop 4 pieces of chicken thighs into 4-6 pieces for each thigh.
    -add the chopped chicken thighs with cold water. Bring it to a boil for 5 mins. Drain it and set aside for later use.
    -Chop potato into same size as the chopped chicken thighs
    -Cut 1 bell pepper and 3-4 stalks of green onion into chunks
    -Slice half onion, half head of ginger, and 3 cloves of garlic.
    -Break some dried chilies
    -2 pieces of anise and 1 tsp of Szechuan peppercorn for later use.

    Cooking with AirGO

    -Set AirGO to grill function for 420F about 12 mins, meanwhile add 2 tbs of oil in the pan.
    -After preheating, add drained chicken thighs, ginger, garlic, green onion, dry chili, star anise, Szechuan peppercorns and some salt in the pan, mixing them all together, then close the lid to cook until shows "FLIP"
    (This step is mainly for activate the spices by hot oil)
    -Add a tbs of chili bean paste and potatoes to the pan and mixing well, close the lid until grill function is over.
    -Change AirGO to base heat function at 420F about 15-20 mins (regarding the potatoes texture after cook)
    -Add onion and dark soy sauce, sugar (optional), 1/2 cup beer and stir well, give some stirs during cook.
    -Use the fork to poke potatoes to see if they become soft, otherwise add more time.
    Serving on top of rice or noodle.
