    Gyūdon, also known as beef with sweet onion, is a Japanese dish consisting of a bowl of rice topped with beef and onion simmered in a mildly sweet sauce flavored with oyster sauce, sake, sugar, soy sauce and mirin. AirGO presents you a simple way to cook it with better heat control.

    Prepare Ingredients

    - Thaw out thin sliced beef which you can find the sliced beef in the Asian Grocery Store or Neighborhood butch shop.
    - Boil half pot of water in the stove, after the water boiled, add thin sliced beef in the hot water, turn of the heat and cover for 3 mins.
    - Remove the beef from pot and drain it well to set aside for use later.
    - Slice the sweet onion for use later.

    Cooking with AirGO

    - Set up AirGO Grill function for 420F 10mins, with lined aluminum foil.
    - After preheat, add sweet onion, oyster sauce, mirin, soysauce, sake and sugar.
    - Cover the lid to cook until times up.
    - Add green onion and cooked beef in the pan, mixing them well, cook for another 2-3 mins.
    - This dish can be served with rice or Udon, very yummy! Add more salt if needed.
