Soft Tortilla

No offense! Personally I don’t like the smell of tortilla from grocery store. So I decided to make my own like restaurant style.

Most receipt is using lard, here I substitute to same amount of vegetable oil. Original style is also using cast iron pan which the temperature is really hard to manage and easy to burn or dry out.

AirGO Crepe/ Naan function could easily solve the problem, keep the temperature consistently and the conductive air helps to cook quicker and evenly.

Prepare Ingredients

- Mix dry ingredients together
- Add oil into the dry ingredient mix well
- Add hot water and knead dough
(Tips, add most of water first, then knead dough, take look at the texture then add more water.)
- Set mix dough in the a bowl cover with wet towel or food wrap for 20 mins. it help you to knead dough with smooth texture
- Divided dough to 12-14 pcs. set for another 15mins
-Using rolling pin to flat each one about 7-8"size.


Preheat AirGO

Preheat AirGo Crepe/ Naan function 390F 30mins ,
each one takes 2.5mins
about 1.5 mins will start bubble, then you can choose to flip if you satisfied with the color.
wrap it with foil to keep them soft.
