Ingredients

1 lb Tuna
1/2 cup for sauce Soy Sauce
1/2 cup for sauce Mirin
1/4 cup for sauce Sake
1/4 cup for sauce water
1 tbs for sauce Brown sugar
3-4 pcs for sauce Ginger
1 avocado
1 stalk Green Onion
1 tbs Black Sesame Seeds roasted
1 tbs White sesame seeds roasted

    Tuna is very low in calories and fat, which makes it an almost pure-protein food.
    It’s also a good source of B-vitamins, plus minerals like magnesium, phosphorus, and potassium.

    To cook tuna is kind of tricky, you don’t want spent to much money on the sashimi grade of tuna, and you want to eat tuna safely and tasty. So, the safe temperature to eat tuna is the inner temperature of 145F , and Ahi tuna is 115F。

    Cook with AirGO make it a lot easy.

    I used normal frozen tuna fish from market. and cooked inner temperature towards 146F。I felt a bit flaky than I expected but eat with avocado will be the best combination of texture and taste.

    About Teriyaki sauce for seafood, you can switch to ginger instead of green onion.

    Prepare Ingredients

    -Thaw the tuna in the refrigerator over night, use the paper towel to dry the extra water from tuna.
    -To Making seafood teriyaki sauce in the stove,
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1/2 cup mirin
    1/4 cup sake
    1/4 cup water
    1 tbs of brown sugar
    3-4 sliced ginger
    Boil above ingredients and turn the heat to simmer and uncover it to reduce the water in the sauce, after about 20 minutes, the sauce will reduce about half of original quantity. Let it cool down. ( leave 1 tablespoon out for use on top of the tuna after it cooked)
    -Then marinate tuna in a ziplog bag about 1-2 hours in the refrigerator.
    - Take them out, and cover with toasted black and white sesame seeds.
    - Let it set on the counter for 30mins ( room temperature)

    Cooking with AirGO

    - Set AirGO grill function for 400F about 6mins, with lined parchment paper.
    - After preheating, add marinated tuna in the pan.
    - Cook until times out, you can check the inner temperature after shows FLIP, it might help you to control the time.
    - If your tuna not reach the temperature after times up. you can leave it in the pan and close the lid for about 2 mins.
    - Pour some sauce on the top of tuna and garnish with green onion, serving with avocado.
