AirGO Salmon Patties

    These delicious and satisfying salmon patties are a breeze to make, especially with the AirGO. All you need are canned salmon, shredded bread(or breadcrumbs) chopped onion and eggs, and you can prepare them at any time. The other ingredients can be adjusted to your preference.

    Ingredients and Preparation

    - 1 (14.75 ounce) can salmon, drained of all but 2 tablespoons of liquid, flaked
    - 1 large slice bread , crust removed, shredded or breadcrumbs, 1 cup
    - 3 tablespoons onion(you can use green onion instead), chopped
    - 1 medium garlic clove, minced
    - 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped, or 1 teaspoon dried
    - 3 tablespoons minced green bell pepper
    - 1 tablespoon flour
    - 1 large egg
    - 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
    - 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
    - 2 teaspoons lemon juice
    - 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
    - Several turns of freshly ground black pepper
    - 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

    Preparation:
    1. In a large bowl, gently mix together the salmon (including 2 tablespoons of the can liquid), bread, green onion, garlic, dill, bell pepper, flour, egg, paprika, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
    2. Form 6-8 patties
    3. Chill at least 30 minutes. Cover the patties and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to several hours) to help them firm up.

    Method

    - Set AirGO Grill function for 420F, 5 - 10 minutes and line the pan with parchment paper.
    - Once the AirGO has preheated, brush some oil onto the pan and place salmon patties in the pan
    - Allow the patties to cook until the cook until the indicator show "FLIP", then flip them gently.
    - Cook until time is up.
    Optionally, Drizzle lemon juice over the salmon cakes before serving, if desired.
